Well.....
Apparently, I'm just destined to be a humongous freak of nature with the growth of my belly in the next several months, because as of our ultrasound yesterday....
.....we think.....
.....pretty much.....
...that we are having.....
ONLY one baby.
Yep, just one.
Probably.
See, the sonographer decided to try to get what she needed by an abdominal ultrasound rather than a transvaginal ultrasound (which would have provided the most clarity). And she got the measurements of the Chicklet, the heartrate (155 bpm), and the rest of the inner workings of my uterus.
When we asked her, "Now you're sure there's only one," she promptly replied, "nope."
But she thinks that there is only one, but we'll know for sure for SURE at our 11w ultrasound in early November.
So, no need to change the blog title to "The Chicklet."
Yet.

I just scrolled down to that picture again and I am still in shock!
But, the best news is... I am STILL THRILLED for the pregnancy!! YAY!!!
*hugs* I should scan some pics of when I was pregnant with Micah. They'll bring you comfort. ;) YAy for a heartbeat & the first pic of your little bean!!! I'm wondering why she didn't do a vaginal, though. With all the things going on (specifically the beta number) you would think they would demand a vaginal. What do I know?
So happy for you...you are a beautiful "freak of nature"! I think a uterus that's been there and done that tends to know what to do. I always "blossomed" early with my subsequent pregnancies. Still...you never know. I will be watching for news...and praying all is well. So happy for you...
Blessings,
Kelly
Hi M! I checked your blog on Monday waiting for this update. :) I just can't believe they didn't do transvaginal. UGH. I still am NOT convinced. No way. Anyway, the most important thing is that the Chicklet they DID see is thriving. :) HOOOORAAAYYYY!!! Love you so much!! Hugs, D :)
The Chicklet's just big-boned. ;) Nothing wrong with that. LOL.
